The world of film in my eyes.
My passion for film runs deep. I have always been in love with the captivating magic that movies have to offer. Movies to me are my life, I cannot fathom my world without getting lost in a movie. Whether its Stanley Kubrick's ability to toy with my mind and emotions. Orson Welles' ability to memorize his audience with captivating imagery and cinematography. John Ford's use of background images to create a picture so beautiful and a story within itself. Sidney Lumet's way of directing that made every character relatable to the audience on so many levels. And Alfred Hitchcock's ability to thrill you with the story he was telling. Those are my Favorite directors, the men I just listed and their being masters of this art are the reasons I am passionate of films. I hear this cliche a lot when it comes to film but "movies are magical", and that is extremely true. When watching a movie something happens to me that is unexplainable. Anything is possible in movies, if you want to be an astronaut, lawyer or Indian Chief in a one week time period, movies and acting can make that happen. I love movies and I hope it never ends. I also hope that my writings on films I review bring a second pair of eyes on how the world of motion pictures turn. Please comment on anything film related; suggested movies you would like me to review, further readings, opinions on directors and screenwriters and their styles.
